Cutting meat from the diet is not easy, cutting dairy from the diet is even more difficult. Making a vegan or vegetarian dish that is easy and simple to make is rewarding and is a great replacement for both. Butter cauliflower uses avocado or coconut oil to make this classic indian cuisine dish. Simple and quick to make, and great for people on a diet that helps with high blood pressure or high cholesterol. This recipe will lead up to a Freeze Dried Friday video where i will freeze dry an “all vegan & vegetarian” array of foods.
Here are the ingredients for the sauce:
2 3/4 C Water
1/2 C Cashews
6 oz can Tomato Paste
1 Tbsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
For the cauliflower mixture:
1 Tbsp Garlic (4 cloves)
2 Tbsp Vegan Butter (avocado oil, coconut butter)
1 yellow onion
1 head or 6 cups of Cauliflower
