A teaspoon of marmite gives it a deeper flavour to the sauce – and some B vitamins.

MrOnionCock says:

Why are you adding parmesan cheese to a vegetarian dish?

Andy Panai says:

Great recipe for quorn, but that wasn't a generous helping of Spaghetti. The ratio of mince to spaghetti was greater. No wonder restaurants never give you enough Spaghetti. I prefer it the other way around!!

andrew charles says:

does it make any difference in cooking method using frozen Quorn mince does anyone know?

Heidi Scarrott says:

I roast some bell peppers for 20 mins and add it to the recipe. Also I add kidney beans, mushrooms and cayenne pepper to make a chilli.

LB says:

Ok so with beef mice you normally add it to the pan with the onions, what would happen if you added the Quorn in before the tomatoes? Would it burn as its low in fat?

andrew charles says:

I really like this. Quick easy to make. Never again will I buy a jar of dolimio and some mince beef. Never.

virtual-adam says:

Double everything (including the stock cubes) except the quorn, add mushrooms. Then add 2 heaped teaspoons of Marmite, 2 teaspoons of sugar and some vegetarian Worcester Sauce, it is so much nicer. Not quite as healthy but it will satisfy you if your looking for a meat kick.

Elora Smith says:

Heads up for veggies that don't know. Parmesan is not suitable for veggatarians. Use a cheese that doesn't contain rennet if you want your dish suitable for veggies.

Lucas Carr says:

Quorn manufactures, It would be nice of you to let the general public know how dangerous your product is. You fail to ever mention there is an all be it small chance that Quorn fake meats can cause death. and on average 10% of people eating it have adverse allergic reactions.

barbersurgeon says:

It's a shame it contains eggs in its composition. A few in my family are allergic to egg protein… I wonder how many of Quorn products are free from animal protein… Otherwise it tastes really good ; D !!!
