RECIPE FACT SHEET

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

1 Leek (trimmed, washed and chopped)
700g of Potatoes (washed, peeled and chopped)
2 Cloves of Crushed Garlic (about 2 Teaspoons)
1 Litre of Liquid Chicken Stock (or Vegetable if desired)
25g of Butter
Salt and Pepper
Fresh Parsley (to garnish – optional)

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: About 20 minutes

ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC
(Look up Google for a conversion chart if using Imperial)

i learnt first time in this video, that i can actually hand-blend the ingredients after they are cooked AND in the pot itself. Now, that's how they make the soup so creamy. Also, i learnt u can conveniently use ready-made chicken stock from a pack, instead of making your own fresh bones for the broth. So time-saving and enlightening, for me!
