✹ Recipes ✹
Omelette →
1 (12 oz) block soft tofu
1/2 cup chickpea flour
1 heaping TBSP tapioca starch or cornstarch
3 TBSP nutritional yeast
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic power
pinch of turmeric (optional)
1/2 tsp kala namak (black salt)

Blend all ingredients until completely smooth and allow batter to sit for at least 10 minutes. Heat some oil or vegan butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add in about 1/3 cup batter and spread evenly in pan. Cover and allow to steam for 3-4 minutes, or until the top of the omelette starts to dry out (it will stop being glossy). Carefully flip omelette. Add sauteed veggies and vegan cheese, then fold over. Cover with a lid and allow to steam for an additional 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted. Enjoy!

Mini Cheesecakes →

For the Crust: In a food processor, pulse 1 cup of your favorite nuts with 1 cup of fresh medjool dates until crumbly and mixture sticks together. Line muffin tins or springform pan with a strip of parchment for easy removal and spray lightly with oil.

For the filling:
1 cup raw cashews, soaked overnight or boiled 10 minutes
1 can coconut cream
juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp vanilla extract
3-4 tablespoons maple syrup or agave
pinch of salt
3 TBSP melted coconut oil

Blend all ingredients together until completely smooth. Pour evenly between your muffin tins or into springform pan over crusts. Place in freezer for at least 3 hours. To serve, let them sit out for about 10 minutes at room temperature to soften slightly (like ice cream).

Sarah probably seems down in this video because the world is sick, we're in lockdown, and America is in shambles

David Mcgregor says:

Great video and recipes with the exception of being sponsored by Four Sigmatic because the scientific evidence for the claims of the products are questionable and that more independent research has to be done to prove the claims are accurate and justified. I personally wouldn't buy the products because I am not naive enough to believe the claims that not just that the products have health benefits without good scientific evidence and it just doesn't exist in this case.

Laura Klein says:

I’ve been feeling pretty down the last couple weeks, and it was very comforting to hang out and cook with you. Thanks for sharing 💕 hope you’re doing well

Natural Vegan Mom says:

For people commenting about Sarah's vibe/mood, maybe she was "down," maybe not. I don't think people realize how hard it can be to film yourself and come across as bouncy/cheerful, yet not fake. It certainly isn't "natural." To me she just seemed regular, less hyped for the camera, maybe it was just a chill day.

Love the hair. ❤

Stella K says:

I might be in the minority here, but I have to say I miss your more personal-style videos! I don’t mind this tasty-style shot for standard recipe videos, but I miss seeing you talk to the camera in your longer vlogs! Hope you’re doing ok ❤️
