Pakoda is an all time favorite snack. This can be prepared easily and instantly. It becomes highly nutritious when vegetables are added. Vegetable Pakoda will be loved by kids and elders too…
Ingredients
Kadalai Mavu /Besan flour – 1 cup
Rice Flour – 1/4th cup
Cashew -7nos.
Turmeric powder – ¼ Tsp.
Chilli powder – 3/4th Tsp.
Salt – as required
Perungayam /Hing – 1 Pinch
Sombu/ Fennel seeds – 1 Tsp.
Jeera – ½ Tsp.
Oil – for frying
Water for sprinkling
Chopped Veg. – 1 ½ cups
(Carrot – 1, Potato – 1, cabbage, cauliflower ½ cup )
Ginger, Corriander leaves, curry leaves and Pudina leaves.
Note:
Onion and garlic can be optionally added.
Pudina and Sombu give nice aroma.
