Chetna!! Congratulations on being profiled/highlighted in the Sunday 8.9.20 Washington Post online column VORACIOUSY. I wish Joe Yonan had mentioned your latest vegetarian cookbook, but any press attention is great. Best to you and your family.

Erika Barrie says:

Very tasty, and I never would have thought to use yogurt this way. I only had brown mustard seeds, but it was delicious. Don't mind the people who think any butter or any carb is bad– everything in moderation, and the vegetables in the filling are plenty of virtue versus the sandwich bread. A good white sandwich loaf is the right contrast of sweet and tender and creamy/crunchy.

Connie Van Noten says:

I will have to have this book. So happy you came out with a vegetarian book. We eat mainly; WFPB and are already in the possession of your other books, Healthy Indian and Chai, Chaat & Chutney. De recipes are amazing. Such a joy to cook from them. Thank you so much ❤️

This was so yummy. We skipped the yoghurt but added chilli sauce and cheese. And no mustard seeds 🤢
But it went down well with all of us, ages ranging from 5 to 72!
Thank you x

Marianne Sakellar says:

Does your new book include a conversion table for those of us in America? The conversion tables on the internet are not satisfactory. Thank you!

Is there a way to spice this filling up more? I made it today and while it was good, I was wondering if I could add more flavor – maybe chaat masala? green chutney? or will it ruin it?

A Udawala says:
