Vegan MamaNana
We are Sanya (Mama) and Lara (MamaNana). We both love to cook and experiment in the kitchen. This is just a fun way for us to spend a little extra time together during our busy lives.
Our channel will focus on WFPBNO (Whole Food, Plant Based, No Oil) Vegan recipes and cooking tips. If you’re not vegan, but following a HCLF (High Carb, Low Fat) lifestyle, these recipes will still be perfect for you.

Episode 18: These burgers are sooooo Yummy! Mom got this recipe from one of her favorite Vegan Gurus, Lani Muelrath. We have linked her information below. Enjoy!

The All-American Burger
1 (15 – ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained (about 1 1/2 cups)
1 cup cooked short-grain brown rice
1 1/2 cups vegetables (grated carrot, minced onion, chopped mushrooms)
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 c. quick-cooking oats or bread crumbs
1 clove garlic, crushed or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp vegetarian Worcestershire Sauce
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tbsp chopped dill
2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp liquid smoke
2 – 3 tbsp BBQ sauce or ketchup

Mash the beans and rice together. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until well-combined. Form into 9 patties and dredge in some garbanzo/chickpea flour. Place them on a parchment or Silpat-lined baking sheet. Bake 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
