♡ Where do you live? – Just outside of Toronto
♡ Where do you find mushroom broth powder? – Asian grocery stores have it. I show what the packaging looks like in this video:
♡ What’s up with your skin? – I have eczema, and atopic dermatitis on my hands. I share what I do to help my skin in this video:
♡ Is YouTube your full time job? – No, I work part-time in marketing 🙂
♡ What does your logo mean? Why isn’t your logo using the Vietnamese flag? – Actually I use the South Vietnam flag because it represents Viet Kieu (Vietnamese immigrants after the fall of Saigon), my parents were both boat refugees before immigrating to Canada. My logo combines two parts of my identity: Maple leaf because I’m Canadian, and the South Vietnam flag because I’m Vietnamese 🙂

Thank you for the hoisin explanation! I always wondered because the ingredients for both look the same. Lol.

cassball7 says:

Which recipe do you like better, the instapot or stove top pho?

M M says:

Can not wait to try this, got me an instant pot for black Friday and getting ready to unbox that bad boy! This looks very easy, and also cheap, which are 2 things I really value when it comes to preparing food!!

S D says:

How do you flavor this? I followed your recipe exactly but the broth was bland. Every pho recipe I’ve followed, the flavor profile is missing. Any recommendations?

Christina T says:

Is there anything I can substitute for the mushrooms? I'm allergic 🙁

Alex Lee says:

Do you recommend toasting the herbs and spices before steeping in pho as well?

jasmine zed says:

i love everything about this!!! i've been researching and waiting for a vegan pho broth that actually has flavor and can imitate the real thing but w/o animal products. also was so excited when you said you were from mississauga because that's my hometown and i love the little chinatown. everything about this video made me happy

Brian Chickowski says:

Totally dug this! I have been looking for a vegan pho recipe. Can't wait to try it!
