It has been many years that I have tried making the perfect Marinara sauce and today I can tell you that I think I have found it! This Plant Based Vegan sauce is rich and earthy and full of flavor. Thanks to one of my favorite websites This website is full of natural home care recipes, healthy personal care recipes and food recipes. She is adorable, the mother of six and is one of my personal heroes. I tried her pasta sauce recipe and it is great but to make it nutritarian I had to tweak it a little bit but I still think it is pretty true to her original recipe. Thanks WellnessMama!

I use this as a base for my own version using green lentils to add more substance and a couple of ingredients to add a savoury flavour like Marmite and nutritional yeast. Oh I’ve added vegetable bouillon too!!

What was the gluten-free linguini you used?

Thanx for the recipe! Appreciate all your efforts to give us nice recipes. Enjoy your shows. I printed off this recipe and was looking at the grams of fat. I was wondering where you get 20 grams of fat in this recipe? I don’t see even two grams in the whole thing. Maybe you can enlighten me?

This sauce was awesome. My family enjoyed it for a spaghetti dinner this evening. We are a family of four and there’s plenty left. So I’m freezing it.

Why no wheat?

Wellness Mama recommends the use of bone broth and collagen ! Slaughterhouse by -products disgusting and unnecessary and obviously not cruelty free.

Looks awesome. I wish you had a portable burner that you could move to your island. I like to see in the pot.🙂

Mr Undecided says:

Thanks for the video, but is it possible to list the ingredients please. How many onions on those 8 cans of tomatoes?

Trish Bresolin says:

Did you find the Pasta Zero at Kroger?

Nick says:

This looks absolutely delizioso! I make a very similar sauce, and add a couple of stalks of minced celery…tastes good and amps up the fiber. Thanks for doing this work Jill! Love your channel and your website. (Also I want to say that I'm grateful that I was lucky enough to come across Dr. Fuhrman's work, the man is a national treasure.)

Carl B says:

I can't wait to make this, might try it on steamed potatoes rather than pasta. I love the tip about using the carrot to reduce the tomatoes' acidity.
