Janice Lum – @ribeye_love on Instagram – is a recovering vegetarian and a confident carnivore healing mental illness and low self-worth with the carnivore diet. This episode is brought to you by Optimal Carnivore. Do you struggle to eat organ meat? Optimal Carnivore was created by Carnivores for Carnivores. They created a unique organ complex from grass-fed animals in New Zealand. It includes 9 different organs – Liver, Brain, Heart, Thymus, Kidney, Spleen, Pancreas, Lung etc. Taking 6 capsules is the same as eating an ounce of raw organ meat from the butcher.

Mark Magliente says:

Absolutely great conversation Scott and Janice. Thank you for the raw honesty and clarity of thought!!

Space Ghost says:

Why does she keep saying she was always insulin sensitive? It doesn't sound like it.

Space Ghost says:

Luckily I never went vegan. I considered it but I hate fruit and hate at least 2/3 of all the vegetables I see at the grocer. Also, wheat and corn give me acid reflux.

Mr Domino says:

She keeps saying insulin sensitive, but does she mean insulin resistant? Being insulin sensitive doesn't cause low energy or sleepiness after eating.

Cheryl Davis says:

Great interview! Thanks so much for sharing!

John Nagle says:

Every word is just spot on truth to the word.

Toby Clegg says:

the amount of times I've heard people mention the notable difference between almost full carnivore and totally carnivore! there must be something to it.

David Salvador says:

This was pure carnivore gold 🥇

Dust Storm says:

The worst advice ever….
Eat your veggies.

Vegans are pathetic.

4GreenFrog says:

We, who eat the carnivore woe, are still few in number. More people are questioning their diet because of their bad health. We are fighting over 60 years of propaganda from the government, food industry, medical establishment and some religious groups. Much success, Janice, and thanks for the interview. Continued good health to you and yours.

Jennifer Duhe says:

Oh my word. She is decribing me when she describes how she was and how she felt. Obsessing, hiding and avoiding, self-doubt. Always weepy and meek. Both my parents had mental illness as well. I recently restarted carnivore and I'm more dedicated now than ever. Last time I only made it about 26 days. Thank you, Janice, for showing me what I can look forward to if I stick with this. I'm determined to feel confident, healthy, and strong. I want to be well.

melissa parker says:

Thank you so much for this. I keep failing in this WOE because of a carb/sugar addiction, but when I am eating mostly carnivore my mental health is much better.

JYAN2852 says:

I have heard enough many of these ex-vegan testimonies. Glad that she has resolved her health through a simple dietary change. Ideology is not proper human nutrition.

Geekspeak10 says:

It’s hilarious when veganss say we are the only animals that drink the milk of another animal. We are also the only animal that tries to milk non-lactating plants and seeds and drink them. I switched to an animal based diet 10 months ago and it’s enhanced every part of my life.

Body Coach says:

She needs her own PODCAST! Congratulations!!

Bleeksan says:

Awesome interview. Wow, the amount of perseverance is amazing! Good for her 🤙
