Hemp protein (cannabis) is just as good as fish if not better. It has all the essential amino fatty acids.

Not true. He is making excuses. I have been to Japan. Japan is a nearly planet based country already. Very low consumptioin of any meat other than fish, and even that is very small portions easily removed. One of the most plant-only-diet friendly places on the planet, as are many Asian countries. If you want to eat dead animals, no one can stop you. But at least drop the lies and excuses, they are childish, unbecoming a medical doctor.

I'd highly recommend eating roughly 1-2 tbsp of nutritional yeast daily if your a vegan. It contains virtually all of the b vitamins.
