► In New England summer means lobster rolls, all summer long! In this video Marc makes his own version — a vegetarian take on the classic “lobstah” roll served in the iconic New England-style split-top roll buns. Marc’s Beach Shack Rolls instantly evoke memories of beach shacks and sandy feet walk-up windows with red and white checkered deli paper-lined to-go containers! What is more East Coast than that?

These rolls combine the delicate nutty flavor of hearts of palm (similar in flavor to artichokes) with fresh-from-the-garden veggies like sweet corn, celery, and green onion — all brought together with a creamy herby base. A touch of Old Bay seasoning adds just the right amount of spice that is traditional New England.

This sounds awesome, especially since we can't get lobster where I live. Thanks for sharing!

That looks yummy and summery and different. Thanks for this delicious recipe and all the tips. Never really used hearts of palm before but I'm excited to try it.
