What my kids eat in a typical day

Chili Recipe

1 onion, chopped
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 yellow squash, chopped
1 zucchini, chopped
1 ½ cups frozen or canned corn
60 oz canned diced tomatoes
2 Tablespoons coconut sugar
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tsp salt
4 tablespoons chili powder
4 ½ cups prepared beans or 3 cans of beans (I used pintos, black beans, and chickpeas)

-Wash and chop all of the vegetables. You can cook this on the stove or on the saute function on your instant pot.
-Add a little water to the bottom of the pot, and when hot, add the chopped onion. Cook for a few minutes until the onion starts to brown a little then add the minced garlic. Cook for another minute and add the squash and zucchini to the pot.
-Once your veggies are brown, add frozen or canned corn, diced tomatoes, and then seasoning. Then add beans and give it a stir. Simmer for about 30 minutes or use the pressure cook setting on the instant pot for 8 minutes.
-Top chili with avocado, cilantro and jalapenos, and a few tortilla chips on the side.

I went PB when my first child was about to start eating solids, so my kids have only known this way of eating.. and the simpler the better it seems! Loved this video and your beautiful family! Hopefully someday pedestrians will know enough to help parents try/adopt plant based meals for their kids because it is so much better, and soooo doable. 🙂

Children need bioavailable protein and fat sources for proper growth. I’m sorry, but this is wrong. If you want them plant-based, have them go plant-based after they’re fully developed. ALA omega 3 (plant omega 3) does not convert into bioavailable DHA well. I’m not hating, just concerned for vegan children. B12 supplementation is also required.

Thank you for sharing! I’ve searched high and low for a wfpb family channel and it’s nonexistent on YouTube! I have 4 littles as well and have been wfpb for 4 months. Ready to learn more!

Aria willows says:

These kids have been denied the key nutrients that they require to grow happy and healthy. These innocent do not even realize their diet is not normalized. They need milk and animal proteins to grow healthy. This is denying them their rights.
