Sangria is an easy cocktail made from an infusion of Spanish red wine and fresh fruit. It looks fancy, feels festive, and it’s great for making ahead of time. So for your next summer event, greet your guests with a large pitcher of sangria. It’ll sure get the party started.

The version I’m sharing today is the most traditional or authentic version, but there’s endless variations to this sangria recipe. Make sure to check out the recipe blog post below for all the details!

Hi guys – sangria is one of my favorite cocktails, and there's so many variations you can make. Are you team red wine or white wine? Check out the full blog post for a few ideas! Enjoy the long weekend (in the US) and stay safe. 🙂 xo – Lisa

Mark says:

If You have that much fruit and leave it for that long in the fridge, the peel and the pith will contaminate the drink and give it a bitter taste.

This is the worst recipe I've ever seen. I lived in Spain for 10 years and this is not authentic

Mark says:

The jug is such a crap shape and so much fruit you can't stir up the liquid.

Mark says:

CO2 bottle openers contaminate the wine with CO2 and if the bottle has the tiniest imperfection the bottle can explode. I've seen this happen before

Mark says:

WAY TOO MUCH FRUIT.
