Can I sub cornstarch for agar-agar? I have agar-agar but it might not meet the quantity required by the recipe. Thank you.

Can’t wait to try this recipe! As much as I don’t mind (or even miss) giving up dairy, the “vegan” cheeses available in the store are not very palatable (IMO), and I therefore end up making my own version at home (potato & carrots, cashew & red peppers, etc), and those are usually for a “cheese sauce” versus what you have here. Have never tried a version using agar agar as the base. Really looks delicious and I already have so many of your recipes already saved to my “favorites” before actually making them! 😆 it didn’t take me long to subscribe to your channel! 🤗 Thank you for all of the effort you put forth in providing such quality content. ❤️

Gabrielle Washburn says:

It would really help if you can explain what’s the Bragg liquid amino… Or any other ingredient you use that most people aren’t familiar with.

cheddarpuff says:

I have yet to get the consistency of these cheese recipes with agar agar right. I don't know what it is, but the cheese never gets hard enough to cut.

Cynthia Ramgoolam says:
