Hi I’m Alex! I started writing a blog back in 2013 as a way to capture my thoughts, feelings and emotions as I married my childhood sweetheart and we had our first child. I’m now a Mum of two little boys (Ethan & Logan) and I’ve continued writing, photographing and videoing ever since as a way to remember all of the little details that make up this amazing journey of Motherhood.

You could give your boys a multi vitamin if there fisdy to make sure they get everything they need you can get some that taste like lollies. And another option is a chocolate protein powder with milk to make them a chocolate milk shake:) but still a great way to get protein in 🙂

Always enjoy watching your hauls! We're also a vegetarian family (well except for my husband). The things I get and cook are always veg/vegan. The fussy stage will get better! My boys 4 and 6 are now slowly eating more and more.

I know your family eats alot of that quorn, I remember you mentioning that in your vegetarian how to video. I've been vegetarian since my birthday in August and I love it. One day I'll order up that quorn stuff unless I find it in a store. Cool grocery haul, looks super delicious and thought out

My little girl was so fussy I used to get so upset about it. She is 7 now and will try more things thank goodness even curry ( korma) . I used to give her some bits of what she would eat and a little bit of something we were having even if it was a couple of spoonfuls. It's hard, but we all understand it will get better x

My grandsons love pitta pizzas. So easy just a pitta spread with tomato purée and then whatever topping they will eat like ham then sprinkle with grated cheese and grill. Maybe worth a try and cheaper than ready made pizzas.

Alex please share any inspiration you might have regarding kids dinners. I don’t call mine fussy anymore, Just plain eaters. If they’re tired a thick peanut butter sandwich on whole meal bread and a banana and a bowl of vanilla frozen yogurt will do the trick!

I’m so pleased to have found your channel! I am veggie as are my two children and it’s nice to see someone else in the same position as people can be judgmental about it! Also lentils in sauces are the way forward I blend them so they don’t even notice. I just wish my two liked soup as it’s such an easy thing to put lentils in x

Do you ever cook dinner with the boys? If you involve them in the cooking process they might be more keen to try new things! You can explain eating quorn has protein which helps their muscles grow, or vegetables to give them energy to play and run around etc. I hope it's not too overwhelming for you having semi fussy eaters. Xx
