And if people worry about killing animals, shouldn't they be also worried about killing plants? Agriculture is also a problem to the environment and the soil isn't always productive because it needs to rest from time to time, which means searching for more productive soil and normally that takes to deforestation

I've been vegetarian or vegan much of my life off and on. I've been healthier those times I didn't eat meat or any animal products. I gave up vegetarianism for religious reasons a decade ago and my health suffered, but recently I decided to go back to a plant-based diet.

The only nutrient that's really a problem for vegans is B-12 (because you'ld literally get nerve damage without it), but you can actually get that from supplements, fortified foods, or consuming chlorella (a kind of single-cell algae). It is also found in some foods eaten in non-western countries, such as duckweed or water lentils. It also might be found in nonwestern agricultural practices, such as using manure or night soil to grow crops.

One thing I disagree with is that plant milks are better than dairy milk. Take something like oat milk. It's basically oat water, oil, and synthetic vitamins. At least dairy milk is a good source of protein, vitamin B-12, calcium and other nutrients. Most non-dairy milks offer very little in actual nutrition.

Its not actually good for you if you have diabetes. as carbs are a staple in a vegan diet unless you do low carbs vegan which can be difficult and is a very small amount of the vegan population. most vegans diets are high in sugar and carbs. which arent really the best to eat for everyone.also the way that a lot of vegan foods are produced harvested and packaged arent very good for the environment ,.
